Multi-Sensory Instruction
Bullet Points:
Does your child struggle to remember math facts or vocabulary words?
Is he or she having difficulty developing core reading, writing, or mathematics skills?
We experience the world through our senses, learning through sight, sound, scent, taste, and touch. Most academic instruction is based on one of your child’s senses: hearing. However, the majority of us learn best through a combination of inputs. Instruction that incorporates visual, auditory, tactile and kinesthetic (learning through movement) activities makes learning more effective and fun. Multi-sensory instruction is also the proven route for effectively teaching children with learning challenges, particularly dyslexia and ADHD. That’s why we approach each student as a unique individual and customize our curriculum to create a dynamic sensory learning experience. |
