Getting StartedDownload: We offer flexible scheduling to work around other summer activities and vacations. Sessions available June 21 – August 27, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. **16 and 24 Session Packs Available at Discounted Pricing** For enrollment in a one-on-one summer program, we start with a free consultation to review your child’s learning history and current needs. Our director will create a customized learning program based on the goals established in this meeting. We accept Mastercard and Visa as payment for individualized sessions. In our Academic Writing Program, students learn to develop a cohesive 5-paragraph essay from an idea to a polished final copy. Who Would Benefit: Students in Grades 3-12 looking to make writing easier. A must for ISEE Test Prep and students entering Middle and High School! Recommended Format: 2-3 Sessions/Week Reading FoundationsWhat It’s All About: Ensure your child's academic success with our foundational reading program! This program individualizes instruction on phonics and word recognition skills to build strong foundation for fluent reading. Who Would Benefit: Students who don't like to read, struggle with reading fluency, and have a history of difficulty with phonics. Recommended Format: 3-4 Sessions/Week Critical ReadingWhat It’s All About: Reading to Learn is the goal of literacy. In this program, students develop reading comprehension strategies to become more effective learners. Required Summer Reading books can be integrated into the student’s program. Who Would Benefit: Students in Grades 3-12 who struggle with content area reading and/or do not find enjoyment in reading. Recommended Format: 2-3 Sessions/Week Math All-StarsWhat It’s All About: Math All-Stars targets the underlying gaps in students' math fact knowledge, computation skills, and problem solving strategies. Pacing of instruction allows for students to develop mastery of key skills before moving on. Just wait until you see the difference in your child's performance next fall! Who Would Benefit: Students in Grades 1-12 who have difficulty on math homework and tests; students who aim to get ahead in math facts or concepts. Recommended Format: 2-3 Sessions/Week SAT and ISEE Test PrepWhat It’s All About: Summertime is the ideal time to build test-taking skills for private school and college admissions tests. Our individualized programs teach strategies and strengthen core academic skills in verbal reasoning, mathematics, reading comprehension, and writing. Who Would Benefit: Students taking the ISEE and SAT for the Fall-Winter 2010-2011 season. Recommended Format: 2-3 Sessions/Week Customized ProgramsWe know that every child has different learning needs.
