Courtney graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Communication and English. She is currently pursuing a Masters in English and single subject credential program at SDSU. She has experience working with students from grades K-11 for La Jolla LearningWorks, with demonstrated success in ISEE and ACT test preparation, as well as academic coaching for children with a variety of learning needs. Prior to working with LJLW, Courtney tutored at other middle schools as well as high schools in San Diego. Courtney most enjoys teaching for the challenges that it presents on a daily basis, and the connections that are established between the teacher and student. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and traveling.
