Jenny Todd recently completed her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at San Diego State, and is currently enrolled in a Library Science program in order to achieve her goal of becoming a school librarian. She began her college education at UCSD, with a degree in Human Development, and then moved to the Pacific Northwest, where she earned a Masters degree in Biology at the University of Washington, before returning to southern California to be closer to her family.
Jenny has always loved and excelled in math and science and enjoys passing this her knowledge and enthusiasm along to students of all ages. Jenny’s teaching experience includes teaching preschool at the Children’s Growing Center in Mission Valley, teaching environmental science to 4th-6th graders in the Seattle area, in addition to student teaching in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classrooms at Adams Elementary and Rosa Parks Elementary here in San Diego. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate Anthropology courses at UW. Jenny enjoys working with students and children of all ages, because she likes that they know how to have fun and are also very curious and excited about learning and experiencing new things. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys reading, playing soccer, going to the beach, and just doing anything that lets her spend time exploring outside.
